Long Island Volleyball Academy Mission Statement
Long Island Volleyball Academy prepares student athletes to excel in competitive volleyball and the game of life by offering first rate teaching, coaching and mentoring in a positive training environment. Through competitive participation, our athletes have the opportunity to develop positive character and leadership qualities. Our commitment to achieving academic and athletic excellence for each athlete is accomplished through participation in a local, regional and national competition schedule and our College Assistance Program. Our athletes learn to balance academics, athletics and family as they prepare for their future.

Academy is committed to providing its athletes with the technical, tactical and physical training to reach their highest possible potential. We will strive to help each and every player regardless of age or ability to achieve maximum performance.

Academy looks to make a difference in the lives of our student athletes, coaches and family by continually being a source of pride for current participants, alumni and our region. Academy reaches out to the community by providing free instructional clinics to local high school, junior varsity, and junior school volleyball programs as well as coaching clinics. As part of the club and camp experience, the Academy also offers free instruction to athletes 6th grade and under. Through our combined efforts, we can raise the bar and strengthen our athletes and their abilities to play volleyball.

Why Academy? It is a choice! We don't ask anyone to play. We don't make anyone play. As prospective studen- athletes you have a lot of choices on Long Island. We strongly encourage you to do your homework when choosing the right club for you. There are many programs out there that are doing great things. There is a program for you! We are proud of the fact that more kids chose Academy over the last two years than any other club on Long Island. We are not a perfect club, but we are committed to improving our operations, our players and our staff every year. We have had tremendous success over the years. We have assisted more student athletes find the right colleges, helped more students receive more athletic scholarship than any other club in the region and we do our share of winning and competing nationally though that is not our measure. Our goal and measure is to make our kids the very best that they can be. We provide a productive and positive environment to assist our athletes prepare for all of their future endeavors and dreams. Our goal is to Teach and Train our athletes all of our athletes! We feel we do this as well as anyone if not better.
